And so it begins~ XP
Trying out a different style of storytelling for this round, and finally, you get to see what happens when I actually INK and FINISH the pages! XDD I was getting SO sick of the pencil lines lol
Anywho, a few things to say about this one. First, there are lots of little Easter Eggs in the frame showing the conveyor belt from the above, amongst the junk X3 I think I'll let you all find out what those extra little cameos and stuff are for yourself
Second, we have a brand new character joining us for this Part. As you can see, his name is Asclepius (Uh-Sclee-pee-us) and yes, he has a weird name lol He is known in Greek Mythology as the son of Apollo, and the first (and perhaps greatest) doctor. He's the founder of all medicine and healing techniques.
After the huge expense of energy and grace in the last fight, Ether called in a favor (at Ruby's persistent request) to have Emily checked out to make sure she was okay.
It doesn't take him long to assess the situation, which is to be expected. Oh, and you know how he puts his hand on Emily's head for seemingly no reason? That's a special technique that's basically like an instant diagnosis. He establishes a connection with Emily's brain, and from that he can tell where her body's at with pain, stress, injury, and basically anything else that he would need to know, without her even saying a word.
So! It seems she's okay, so long as nothing happens in the next week >.>;; Grace isn't something that's easily accumulated, after all. It takes a lot of praying, meditating, and good deeds to earn it back after it's lost. Luckily Emily has lots of practice with it.
With 20 pages to draw, and only like a week left to do them, I'll be quite busy. But thankfully, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to make it go faster, and I have a schedule worked out to help me stay on task :3
I think that's about it. Feel free to ask me any questions ^^ And I will most likely add more info to this AC as I see the need for it.
