Peaches

The Brave Leader
"Don't worry! I'll protect you with everything I have!"

Type: Electric
Approx. Age (In Human Years): Young Adult (From 20-24)
Birthday: April 19th (Aries)
Personality: Strong-willed, kind, and caring, Peaches is a natural-born leader. She's extremely brave and always willing to help others. She can be a little reckless though, putting herself in harm's way for complete strangers without a second thought. A bit short-sighted and impatient, Peaches has a thing for Pecha berries and adores them above all else. She has sharp reflexes and is a very skilled fighter, having been trained to fight by her human trainer. These skills have allowed her to become able to tell what a pokemon's level of ability is, as well as recognize most moves. Mainly a melee fighter, Peaches is resourceful and relies mainly on her speed and strength to overtake her foes.

Dream/Goal:
To recover her missing Power Anklets and the Pokeball that washed overboard with her, and find a way back home to her trainer and her team.

Facts:
:bulletpink: Peaches real name is "Carol". She was named as such by her parents because of her love of singing as a Pichu. She will sometimes also go by "Peach"

:bulletpink: Peaches is not native to the Tao region. She was washed overboard one night and ended up on the beaches of Alomomola Bay. Before this, she had a human trainer named Amber Trescott, and a team of five other pokemon she was very close to. She wants nothing more than to return home to them.

:bulletpink: Thanks to her training with Amber, Peaches speed has become highly developed. She can move much faster than most any pokemon in battle, especially after stimulating her muscles with electricity while using "Agility".

:bulletpink: The scar on Peaches' arm was received when she first arrived to Tao, after being bitten by a Golbat, and later on when she was slashed during Event 2 by Slasher.

:bulletpink: Peaches is very fearless about just about everything. From heights to snakes to ghosts. She can be brave in almost any situation. Except around fire. Peaches one crippling weakness is fire. She has a phobic fear of it that stems from when she first met Amber Trescott. She tries to keep it at bay, but flames still make her very edgy and vulnerable.

:bulletpink: Although she still strives to get home, Peaches has grown very close to her partner, Sprout, and their adoptive child, April. She cares about the two of them more than anything, and wants to do her best to make sure Sprout's dreams come true, and April grows up properly.

=============

Sprout

The Peacemaker
"I don't want to be afraid anymore..."

Type: Grass
Approx. Age (In Human Years): Young Adult (From 18-21)
Birthday: July 21st (Cancer)
Personality: Sprout is very timid and cowardly by nature. She is afraid of most scary things, like bug-pokemon, the dark, heights, and fighting. She hates to fight. However, thanks to Peaches' influence in her life, she has been able to slowly find the courage to face her fears and move towards her goals. Underneath her fear and worries, Sprout is a very kind and gentle pokemon. She cares deeply about others, even if she doesn't know them. She wants to do everything she can to help anyone she can, and hates to see other pokemon get hurt. Not much of a fighter though, Sprout is much better at thinking and analyzing, and healing injuries. A very intelligent pokemon, Sprout is often the voice of reason and logic in situations.

Dream/Goal:
To become a great healer and help many pokemon, as well as cure the poison that taints her system. To find her missing parents and bring them back to Sapling Village.

Facts:
:bulletpurple: Due to an accident deep within Creeping Forest, Sprout was almost eaten as a Chikorita by a hungry Victreebel. She was able to escape with her life, but the toxins in the predator's acid infected the sensitive bulbs on her neck, leaving her poisoned beyond recovery. After much struggling, Sprout has been able to keep the toxins at bay with a healthy diet of Pecha berries and her own antidote mix. However, the poison still threatens her life daily as she searches for a cure.

:bulletpurple: As a result of her poisoning, Sprout has become able to poison others using her vines or leaves (Toxic). She is very careful about causing this though, and is known to heal those she poisons immediately after the fact.

:bulletpurple: Another side-effect of her poison accident is evident in Sprout's physical appearance. Her skin is darker than most of her species, and her head-leaf is a much darker green as well. The biggest indications of its effects are the purple tints on the ends of the bulbs/leaves on her neck (something she's VERY sensitive about), and the purple coloration of her eyes. Subtle differences in these two traits shows the slow progression of the poison into her system.

:bulletpurple: Sprout is the youngest of four siblings, raised under the roof of her caring Aunt Rosemary, the twin sister of Sprout's mother, Rose. Her only brother, Pine, is also the oldest of the family. While she and Pine don't get along well at all, Sprout respects his strength, and is on fairly good terms with her two older sisters, Paprika (Older) and Flora (Younger)

:bulletpurple: Sprout has never known her parents. They were exiled from Sapling Village when she was an egg, after her mother became ill from giving birth to her. As a result, one of Sprout's greatest wishes is to earn the right to find them and bring them back home, something she was finally able to earn during Event 3.

April

The Energetic Adventurer
"Did you see that?! Betcha can't do THAT!"

Type: Normal/Grass
Approx. Age (In Human Years): Pre-teen (From 10-14)
Birthday: June 12th (Gemini)
Personality: A newborn pokemon, April is VERY curious about the world around her. She is also very naive, and easily gullible as a result. As such she doesn't have much of a concept of right or wrong. As long as something seems like it'll be fun she wants to do it, plain and simple. From the beginning April's disposition has always been cheerful and happy. She is taking what life has to offer at full blast, and loving every minute of it. Because she is so young, this zest often causes her to wear out a lot and her inexperience doesn't make her a very strong fighter. So often she is either bouncing off the walls or out like a light with little in-between. Unable to understand the concept of tact, April is often very blunt, and is never afraid to complain when she's hungry, tired, or bored. She is also very mischievous, and combined with her curious nature results in her getting into lots of trouble, all in the name of a good adventure. Along with manners and social etiquette, April also has yet to learn humility. Whenever she succeeds at something she is quick to show it off proudly, and on the reverse side she absolutely hates losing. This pride issue only seems to be growing more as she matures.

Dream/Goal:
To learn how to fly, and run fast, and fight well, and eat her weight in Belue berries, and stay by her parents, and beat Peaches in a race, and become the most amazing tag-player in the universe.

Facts:
:bulletgreen: Although April doesn't know how to fight well, she is a very fast runner, able to keep up with Peaches at a fairly good dash. April also likes to use her "camouflage" ability to blend in with her surroundings (good for pranks and hide-and-seek games, and her most curious move, Rain Dance, is something she still cannot control; activating only when she is very upset.

:bulletgreen: April is very attached to her parents, Peaches and Sprout. She has affectionately given them each very specific nicknames in order to differentiate between them. April will always refer to Peaches as "Mom" and Sprout as "Mama". It's uncertain why she picked these names specifically, but when she isn't addressing either in particular, she will say "Mommy" instead.

:bulletgreen: From the moment she was born and stole Mike's hat right off of his poor, bald head, April has been a troublemaker. Her natural curiosity, seemingly endless energy supply, and mischievous nature made her quite the handful. This has seemed to worsen considerably after the young Deerling met her best friend, a Zorua named Riona. Together they form the "Devious Duo" and love to go pull pranks and play together. Riona's cunning has done much to sharpen April's own prank skills, much to Peaches and Sprout's dismay.

:bulletgreen: April doesn't like spicy things, especially Cheri Berry Juice, but she adores all things sour. Her favorite thing in the world are Belue berries.

Brooke

The Big Dreamer
"You'll never know what you can't do until you give it a shot!"

Type: Water
Approx. Age (In Human Years): Teenager (From 16-20)
Birthday: November 29th (Sagittarius)
Personality:
Although she is not the smartest pokemon or the strongest of fighters, Brooke is tough above all else. She can take hits she shouldn't be able to take, and keep on going. Very persistent, she can outlast opponents through sheer determination and grit. She can land fairly powerful blows with her attacks, but she's not quite sharp enough to do so without a decently wide opening. She is kind and honest, to the point of being a bit blunt, and is practically incapable of lying. Very easygoing and calm, she never loses her cool, and actually gives pretty good advice to friends who are troubled. Brooke is a very big dreamer, and always has unshakeable faith in others as well. She never doubts herself, and believes she can do anything if she puts enough effort into it.

Dream/Goal:
To fly.

Facts:
:bulletblue: Brooke's biggest dream is to learn how to fly. Despite being a fish, she is determined that she will one day be able to fly like a bird, and won't let anyone tell her otherwise. She is often ridiculed for this dream, but she brushes it off, since she is used to being ridiculed already for her looks.

:bulletblue: Just like Peaches, Brooke is not a native to Tao. She was actually born in Cerulean City in Kanto. How her pokeball got into Draclugia Castle's sewer system, or even Tao for that matter, is a mystery. She has a trainer and a team, just like Peaches, and isn't quite used to the way that Tao works without any humans around.

:bulletblue: Brooke has a lousy sense of direction. She isn't very smart to start with, although she isn't exactly an idiot either, but when it comes to finding her way anywhere, she always gets lost. Always. She's also somewhat forgetful and can be a little slow to pick up on social cues or figure out things on her own.

:bulletblue: Currently Brooke is staying with Team Amber at April's request. She is still trying to get a handle on what her situation is, but is more than happy to be part of the team for the time being. She appreciates the team's hospitality towards her, and is especially close to April. She also gets along with Sprout, but for whatever reason Peaches acts strange around her...

:note: Team Amber's Mission Log :note:
:bulletblue: Missions Completed: 4 | Events Completed: 4 :bulletpink:

Arc 1
:star-empty: Prologue: Castaway - WIP
-------Peaches is washed overboard when the ship she and her trainer are on is hit by a storm. She wakes up in Tao to find her precious Power Anklets missing, as well as the pokeball she had been trying to save before she was washed away. Attempting to find cover for the night she enters a cave, only to be attacked by its residents. As a result she is bitten on the arm by a furious Golbat, and badly poisoned. After wandering in the forest, she collapses, only to be found by a certain Chikorita. Miraculously she is saved, and she befriends her benefactor, Sprout, to form the Rescuer team she names "Amber", after her trainer.

:star: Event 1: Guild Appreciation Day
[link] [link] [link] [link] [link]
---------The newly formed team attend the Guild Appreciation Day celebration, and are able to make quite a few friends including Team Fireheart, Team Nocturne, Team Gemz, The Jennis Gang, and Team Red Rose.

:star: Mission 2: Blood Bonds

----------Team Amber's young team is put to its first major trial as they embark on a rescue mission to Castle Draclugia in order to save the pokemon kidnapped from Sapling Village. They, along with Mike, team up with Shroomsworth and a few Merchant Teams in order to infiltrate Merlot's castle, rescue pokemon, and escort the Merchants safely through. Sprout and Peaches split up, Sprout looking for the imprisoned pokemon and Peaches taking on Merlot in order to distract her. Sprout finds the missing pokemon, one of which happen to be her closest sister, Flora. Peaches, along with Mike, Torch, and Treble, is able to take down Merlot after managing to redirect the Lugia's powerful "Thunder" attack against her. As a reward for their efforts, Team Amber is given a curious pink egg from Shroomsworth.

:star: Event 2: A Hard-Boiled Crisis

--------Convinced by Flora, Sprout journeys home to Sapling Village for a visit to her family, leaving Peaches to take care of their new egg on her own. After running into Master Zhu, the fireworks specialist, and learning of his troubles, Peaches can't help but offer her aid. Knowing it would be foolish to take on such a task on her own, she recruits the help of a few of her friends around Tao, including Team Heal Bell, Team Fireheart, and Team Red Rose. In Creeping Forest, Slasher's gang has accidentally set off some of the lost fireworks, causing a forest fire to start. Peaches and the others rush in, and Peaches is confronted not only by Slasher, but by her crippling fear of fire. She is nearly defeated by the Weavile, who is hungry for her egg, but remembering her promises to Sprout and the unborn life that is depending on her, she pulls out a last-minute victory, and earning a new gash on her arm.

:star: Mission 3: April Showers

----------Sprout returns home to find Peaches injured but the egg safe. Insisting they make sure nothing happened to the life form inside the shell, they take it to Missy for a checkup. The Blissey happily informs them that not only is the egg perfectly healthy, but it's about to hatch as well! Scrambling to get prepared for the newborn, they are recruited by Mike to help out over at Tao Ranch with an egg thief. However, before they can even set foot out of his office, their egg hatches, and the tiny Deerling, April, is born. In a strange turn of events, April manages to help them not only catch the egg thief, but Team Nocturne as well, who was stealing food from the Ranch in order to help feed a starving population of Slowpoke. They befriend the team, and help them aid Iceburg and Strawberry in harvesting some vegetables and berries in return for a good amount of the crop to take to the Slowpoke.

:star-half: Event 3: Family Matters

-----------While April awakens into the world from her egg, a Kyurem is also awakened by PK and her merchants. Dubbed "Sorbet", the beast brings with it a blizzard that buries Tao and leaves Peaches and many others horribly sick. In an attempt to find ingredients for medicine, Sprout returns to Sapling Village with April and some of their friends. In a brave attempt to gather all of the village's Breloom Spores for free, Sprout agrees to the ancient tradition of Sapling Village's "3 Trials". In an intense test of her Intelligence, Sprout manages to earn the supply of spores for the medicine, only to be confronted by her brother Pine, who is the bodyguard for the Village Elder. In the ensuing fight, Sprout is beaten mercilessly by the skilled and evolved Bayleef. However, when Sprout realizes that she needs more power to protect her beloved family and friends, and cure the illness of the Pikachu she has come to admire, she undergoes evolution. Now a Bayleef herself, Sprout outwits Pine and ends the battle in one move, granting her one of her life's more dear wishes: To end the banishment of her presumably dead parents. After stopping Yukina from stealing the spores in order to heal Knight, Sprout and the others return home, having gained much, while Pine leaves Sapling in frustration and defeat, seeking more training.

:star: Event 4: Snowballs and Sundries

----------With Peaches healed and life returning to normal for the team, April makes her first real friend in the form of a tiny Zorua named Riona. After having a rough morning, April's cheerful disposition and friendly attitude allow Riona to draw closer to her. Together they cause much mischief, including a near-outbreak of a Village-wide snowball war, and a surprising mistletoe-induced kiss between April's parents. When they meet up again later on, the two happen upon the Merchant's stand, and are kindly given a few small gifts from Shroomsworth to give to their friends and family. Peaches and Sprout also exchange gifts in the form of new accessories for each other, after having each traded in their current accessory to selflessly give a new one to each other.

:star: Mission 5: Exodus

---------Just as new bonds are formed and others are strengthened, however, Team Amber receives a rude awakening when Sorbet falls under a dark illusion, causing him to attack all of Tao. Leaving their new base, a cabin in Tao Woods between the Ranch and Tao Lake, Team Amber set out to aid however they can, running into Mike and Sandy on the way to the village. Peaches heads to the village to help, while Sprout and April stay behind to help Mike and Sandy at the Ranch. While Sprout and April busy themselves loading up food for the evacuees, Peaches helps rescue the children from the collapsing daycare building, and then guide them safely to the Law Firm for evacuation. Sprout and April return, and the team is able to evacuate safely without any injuries.

Arc 2:
:star-empty: Mission 6: The Castle Crusade
---------With all of Tao Village stationed in Merlot's Castle, it's time for another Devious Duo adventure! April and Riona, along with some friends, escape the daycare in order to explore the magnificent and deadly castle, much to the dismay of their caretakers.

Seriously when did you come up with the poison/grass combo with Sprout?! I think that is what got me hooked, on Team Amber the most. Yesterday I ran to this team and would like to learn more about it.
